Setting down the plates the waitress paused, hovering. Charles Six glanced up, crystal blue eyes and perfect skin.

“Can I say it is a privilege to meet you Mr Six. A real thrill… I’ve never met an enhanced before.”

“Really,” he smiled, “well, I can’t say I never met an idiot before.” She blanched, slapped by his words.

“How could you honestly believe I’d care what you think? I was genetically engineered to be better than you in every single way.”

“Not every way,” she blinked, placing his bill on the table, “I’m kinder than you for a start.”
